Still battling four years on I continue my pressure on the Office for the Supervision of Solicitors, this time on its new Director, Jim Wagstaffe. I informed Mr Wagstaffe that the struck off solicitor, Steven Daultrey, was continuing to hold out as being a legitimate solicitor "of 20 years' standing" from the web pages of OCRA - Overseas Company Registration Agents, just as he had done from the firms of Francis Read and Donnellan & Co.
Wagstaffe, clearly incapable of independent thought or propriety, chose completely to ignore this vital piece of information, electing instead to lie by giving assurances to the following:
"However, if you have any reason to believe that Mr Daultrey is still holding himself out as a solicitor, then please let me have the details and I will ensure the matter is addressed urgently."
Nothing was done, and my complaints were again dismissed.
